Peter Brauné's life has been influenced by photography and art since childhood. Early memories of his father's rich black and white photographs taken with his twin lens Rolleiflex and those of his mother's fine art watercolors, oil paintings and sculpture, influenced Peter's decision to pursue a life dedicated to creative expression. Peter brings his eye to the things that matter to him in life…food, people, still life and the water. Getting the shot is a compelling force for him, whether in the studio or on location. Uncluttered images with strong composition develop from an organic instinct that has been honed by years of experience working with a camera and a love for what he does. Peter’s images have appeared nationally in magazines and catalogs, as well as in advertising campaigns and on packaging for a wide variety of clients. Peter lives in a Craftsman style home near the harbor in Huntington, NY.
