Sheryl Victor is the owner of Savvy Strategy, which develops marketing and licensing programs for entertainment, entrepreneurial and niche brands. Savvy provides cost-effective, 360-degree marketing and licensing solutions for clients, with a specialization in digital and social media. Sheryl has spent the past 15 years on the client and agency sides of the business. Prior to Savvy, Sheryl led worldwide brand development of products and services at Hearst Magazines for Cosmopolitan, Cosmogirl!, Country Living, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful and Seventeen. Prior to Hearst, Sheryl was VP, marketing director for BaseSix, a boutique interactive firm based in Boston. At BaseSix she was responsible for spearheading the entertainment-side of the business, where she managed such clients as HBO and Showtime. Sheryl has also led account management at The Sloan Group for Ticketmaster and Nickelodeon, and spent the first eight years of her career in marketing and brand development at MTV, VH1 and USA Networks. Sheryl is a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. |
