Probably the most powerful feature of our site is the CUSTOM NETWORKING GROUPS.
Custom Networking Groups are spinoffs of our networking community where you can have a private little group of like minded people.
We allow any registered user to join any open Networking Group or create their own Custom Networking Groups FREE of charge. Create a Custom Networking Group for your industry, your neighborhood or whatever kind of group that you like. Before you create a group we ask that you make sure there isn't already a group like yours created - if there is you can join that group.
To Join or Create a Networking Group - First browse the existing groups by clicking the [Networking Groups] link in the Features menu .
Once on the main Networking Groups screen you will see the various categories of groups - as you see we have four categories:
Home Based Businesses - for those of you who work from the home in a Home office or whatever.
Location Based Networking Groups - also called regional networking groups these are powerful opportunities to meet with other businesses within your town or county - for example I live in Huntington so I have joined the Huntington Networking Group. I would also join the Suffolk County Networking Group and maybe some of the groups in towns that border mine.
Industry or Professions - If you are in Real Estate and want to network with other Real Estate professionals - join the Real Estate Group - same for IT if you are in Technology, etc.
Social Groups - We started this category because we recognize that you need to have a little fun sometimes - you might as well have it on our site!
You can join any of these groups by clicking the [Join This Group] link:
To Create your OWN CUSTOM NETWORKING GROUP - click [Create Your Own Group]. Give your group a name that reflects its purpose and a brief synopsis. If you create a group, YOU will be the Group Leader and Moderator - so make sure that you have read the the [Group Rules].
