The July 23rd. LongIslandbiz2biz.com "SpeedMeet" at the vineyard was a great success!

The event was held at Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard located on the North Fork of Long Island. Despite some of the heaviest downpours in recent history, 20 plus professionals from diverse fields such as marketing, food service, finance, jewelry, heathcare, real estate, product development and technology weathered the storm to come out for an evening of networking.

Paula Geonie, Baiting Hollow’s Public Relations and Events Manager hosted the event, provided a delicious dinner and wine tasting. Then Paula discussed the history of her family owned vineyard and their horse rescue farm.

The vineyard donated several “BHFV wine and cheese party for two” vouchers that were raffled off to the attendees. The group also enjoyed an espresso Bar and mouthwatering desserts provided free by Caffe' Portofino (a funky little coffeehouse located in Northport Village).

Every attendee also received a BHFV VIP Card and enjoyed VIP wine and gift discounts iincluding 10% off bottles of wine and boutique items and 15% off cases of wine.

The participants then took their places at designated tables and the networking began. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they made their way around the room for a series of micro-meetings exchanging their business pitches and making new friendships in the vineyard’s beautiful tasting room.  Go HERE to view the photos our interns took.
